HOW TO CONTACT ETHICS OFFICE
As part of augmenting Bank’s Corporate Governance, the Board of Directors approved in 2009 the creation of an Ethics Function (COEO) with the main purpose of making available to Staff, advisory expertise on work-related ethical issues, dilemmas and challenges, so as to avoid real, perceived or potential conflicts of interest in the performance of their duties and responsibilities.
The Ethics Office continues to provide advice ensuring that Staff members conduct themselves in the most ethical manner with integrity expected in Bank.
In line with this new mandate, we have developed in close cooperation with CIMM and SECU, the secured and confidential communication means, ensuring a 24/24 assistance service. The communication means include the helplines with direct assistance or voice messaging system, fax lines, email addresses, Skype addresses through which, ethical dilemmas can be submitted by Bank’s Staff or other stakeholders. Staff members are invited to privilege the usage of these communication means in order to efficiently and swiftly treat the questions or complaints they may have.
In line with the newly restructured entity, in order to be compliant with Ethics mandates, staff members in the Ethics Office will respond to the enquiries within 48 hours upon reception of the messages received through Emails, voicemails, faxes….
